When you use our booking form or otherwise contact us, we may collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Postcode
- Lesson preference (manual or automatic) and driving experience level
- Any additional information you choose to share in your message
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange driving lessons
- Match you with a suitable instructor
- Communicate with you about bookings, scheduling and payments
- Improve our services
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
4. How We Store Your Information
Booking enquiries submitted through our website contact form are processed using Formspree, a third-party form processing service. Your submission is transmitted securely to our email inbox. Please refer to Formspree's own privacy policy for details of how they handle data in transit.
5. Cookies and Your Consent
Our website uses a cookie banner to ask for your permission before any non-essential cookie or tracking technology is used. We use three categories:
- Essential — always on, used only to remember the cookie choice you make so we don't ask again every visit.
- Analytics — optional, off unless you switch it on.
- Advertising — optional, off unless you switch it on. Used for Google Ads conversion measurement (see below).
Analytics and advertising cookies are not set until you give permission, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. Full detail on the individual cookies involved is in our Cookie Policy.
6. Google Ads
We run Google Ads to advertise HB Driving School and use Google's conversion tracking to understand which enquiries came from our ad campaigns. This only activates once you have given advertising consent via our cookie banner, and is implemented using Google Consent Mode, which tells Google's tag what you have and haven't allowed. Where advertising consent is not given, no advertising cookies are set and Google Ads receives no personally identifiable conversion data from your visit. We do not currently use Google Analytics on this website.
7. Third-Party Services
Our website uses the following third-party services, which may set cookies or process limited data as part of their normal operation:
- Formspree — to process contact and booking form submissions
- Google Fonts — to load website typography
- Google Maps — to display our Manchester service area on the Contact page
- Google Ads — conversion tracking for our advertising campaigns, only once advertising consent is given (see Section 6)

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hbdrivingschool@hotmail.com.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and respond to your enquiry, or as required by law.
